I live in Chicago and went to several stores to try on wedding dresses, attempting to stick to a budget of $2,000 or less, including alterations. They said they would probably not need to get it professionally cleaned again. Kimberly had explained to me that the dress was professionally cleaned prior to sending. I was able to receive a discount with a promo code, but was also exempt from paying sales tax, which allowed me to get a $5,000 dress for ~$800! Additionally, they do give you a 72 hour return window in case the dress you order does not work out for some reason.
