Royal Wedding Gown Finally Revealed!
The big day has finally arrived and the rumors that had been milling around about Kate Middleton’s gown designer were true! Sarah Burton, a designer for Alexander McQueen created the gorgeous look for Kate, and we here at Your Dream Dress think that it could not have been a better choice!
The ivory, satin and lace gown resembled the wedding gown of Princess Grace of Monaco, along with pearl button detail and a 8-foot-train. The long, feminine chantilly and english lace sleeves were exactly what we were expecting, and the lace edged, silk veil was to die for.
For brides who are interested in a similar look, the Renella de Fina “Annalise” couture bridal gown is similar to what Kate and The Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown looked like, due to its fitted lace bodice and long lace sleeves.
We loved the decision to use the plunging v-neckline because it emphasized her youth and femininity, while also keeping the dress itself current, yet appropriate. Not to mention that it was absolute perfection for her figure!
While girls around the world are dreaming of finding their own Prince Charming, upcoming brides who already have their man but are interested in adding a beautiful tiara to their wedding wardrobe should try the Homa Bridal Tiara with Swarovski crystals and pearls. These looks and others like it are certainly fit for a princess!
